PowerHouse Studios believes much of a dancer's education happens on stage through live performances. The school therefore encourages all dancers to be a part local productions as well as guest appearances throughout the island.
PHS opened it's doors on September 2017 and less than a year later, held it's first public production 'Welcome To The Jungle" in June 2018. A total of 90 students took part in the show with special guest appearances by Dancin' Africa and Ascending Stars. The production was held at the Errol Barrow Centre for the Creative Arts, at the Cave Hill Campus of The University of The West Indies. Two sold out shows were held and with the help of many volunteers and sponsors - the show was a hit!
The following year, 2019, PowerHouse Studios returned to the stage with over 120 dancers with the production of 'Dear Diary'. Again we collaborated with the talents of Dancin' Africa, Ascending Stars and the guest appearance of BCC Dance Program graduates Christian Gibbs and Naomi Graham. Held at EBCCI again, this year we sold out 3 shows with great reviews from the audience.
